The common approach taken is to refurbish the cement and replace individual components when renewing mechanical wastewater treatment systems. With small and medium-sized plants especially, it is also possible to install an optimally customized unit to replace the entire mechanical purification stage (screens, screenings treatment, grit chamber). This substantially reduces the surface area required.

The KUHN KOPA compact system all the processing steps for mechanical purification and screening is integrated in a stainless-steel container.

KKA HEADWORKS UNIT

The KUHN KKA headworks unit combines a screening and grit chamber plant in a space-saving design. It filters out screening and grit from municipal and industrial wastewater and sewage.
